The projections were put forward by the administrator Elisabete Dias dos Santos, who clarified that this increase is part of the program to promote and increase production, which will only begin to be verified next year, after production had suffered a drop last year because of of covid-19.
The person in charge, in statements to Angop, also spoke about the slaughterhouse. The administrator indicated that the installed slaughtering capacity is being expanded, and in 2022 it is expected to increase from 2500 to 5000 slaughters per hour to 10,000 slaughters per hour.
"We are more stable in terms of raw material and we are able to forecast an increase in competitiveness," she informed.
