The message, which also expresses "the desire to exchange visits at the highest level", was delivered at the ministry's headquarters by Marlon José Peña Labrador, Venezuela's ambassador to Angola.
Angola and Venezuela have signed several legal instruments, including the agreement to abolish visas in diplomatic and service passports.
In a note from the ministry to which VerAngola had access, it refers that the two countries have been working towards expanding existing partnerships, raising funds to improve economic and social projects, as well as maintaining the good level of friendship and solidarity with each other.
Angola intends to make objective use of its relationship with Venezuela, within the framework of south-south cooperation, "taking into account the historical ties that unite the two countries and peoples, as well as the existing synergies in terms of economic potential, both oil producing and exporting countries", concludes the note.

Also this Thursday afternoon, the Minister of Foreign Affairs received Mahamane Cissé-Gouro, Director of the Division of the Council on Human Rights and Treaty Mechanisms of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
The official is in Luanda for a three-day visit as part of the consultation process between the Government and the Human Rights Council. During his time in the capital, he will address thematic issues such as the issue of technical assistance and capacity building, training of members of the National Commission for the Preparation of National Reports on Human Rights (CIERNDH), and support within the framework of the recommendations of the evaluation of Angola in the III Cycle of Universal Periodic Assessment (UPR) in terms of human rights, refers a note to which VerAngola had access.
At this audience with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zahira Virani, Resident Coordinator of the United Nations System in Angola, was also present.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights is a United Nations body dedicated to the promotion and protection of human rights guaranteed by international law and stipulated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948. It was established by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 20 of December 1993.
It is headed by the High Commissioner for Human Rights, who coordinates human rights activities throughout the United Nations system and oversees the Human Rights Council in Geneva.
Currently, the position of High Commissioner is held by the Austrian Volker Türk, who succeeded in September 2022 the former President of Chile, Michele Bachelet.
