National Integrated Ticketing Company presented this Monday. Henda Inglês is the PCA

On Monday morning, a new public company was presented, the National Integrated Ticketing Company (ENBI). Henda Inglês was appointed to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the company, which is dedicated to the implementation and management of the national system of integrated ticketing for social and regular passes in collective public transport of passengers.

According to a statement from the Institute for Management of State Assets and Participations (IGAPE), to which VerAngola had access, the presentation took place at the Ministry of Finance.

The event was attended by the Secretary of State for Finance and Treasury, Ottoniel Santos, the Secretary of State for Budget and Public Investment, Aia-Eza da Silva, the Secretary of State for Land Transport, Jorge Bengue Calumbo, the deputy Governor of Luanda Province for the Economic Sector, Lino Quienda Mateus Sebastião and the Executive Administrator of IGAPE, Raimundo Santa Rosa. As guests, the presidents of the Boards of Directors of active public transport operators were also present.

At the event, which was closed by the deputy governor for the Luanda Sector, who communicated a message sent by the governor of Luanda, Ana Paula de Carvalho, the presentation of "each of the individuals who, from now on, will be part of the management of ENBI".

Thus, the position of PCA will be occupied by Henda Inglês while Pedro Carmo Manuel Pereira and Alice Paula dos Santos Neves will be executive directors.

The Board of Directors also includes the names of José Manuel Rela dos Santos Bento and Mário Nsingui Pedr as non-executive directors.

On the occasion, according to the statement, the new company stressed its "commitment" to society and stated its intention to help in the "task of reducing the impact of social needs in terms of transporting people, goods and improving urban mobility".

It should be noted that the national ticketing system concerns an "integrated mechanism for registering (in person or online) collective public transport passengers, for issuing (subsidized) social passes, for children, students, young people, people with special needs, senior citizens and veterans of the country, and regular passes, for the general public".

Among the benefits related to the operation of this system, we highlight the "dynamization of social policies, greater ease and fluidity in passenger boarding, expansion of the ticket sales network and electronic fares, with new online sales channels and call centers", advance the note.
