“Professor Exemplar” award distinguished Rangel teachers. First place received more than one million kwanzas

Professor Diogo Simão was one of the great winners of the “Professor Exemplar” award, having been awarded more than one million kwanzas. In this first edition of the award, two other teachers were also distinguished, namely Zeferino Mbuta and Kinda Ndongala.

According to a note from the Administrative Commission of the City of Luanda (CACL), to which VerAngola had access, Diogo Simão was the winner of primary education, having received one million kwanzas in prize and 400 thousand kwanzas for training.

Professor Zeferino Mbuta also stands out, who won the award for teaching the first cycle. According to the statement, the teacher received "eight hundred thousand kwanzas as a prize and four hundred for training".

Kinda Ndongala was the third highlighted name. The teacher was the big winner in the second cycle, having won "five hundred thousand kwanzas as a prize and three hundred for training".

It was "in the presence of the President of CACL, Maria Antónia Nelumba, the Administrator of Rangel, Nádia Neto, representatives of Obrabella, the Ministry of Education and about six dozen teachers that the three teachers saw their names mentioned as the big winners ", indicates the note, which adds that the winners "were awarded diplomas and awards".

It should be noted that the district administration of Rangel promoted last Friday, the 1st edition of the "Exemplary Teacher" award, which is sponsored by Fundação Obrabella and is part of the District Schools Revitalization Plan.

This award, according to the statement, aims to contribute to "improvement of the quality of teaching, annually rewarding teachers and school directors for their development in teaching and educational activity".
