After playing 14 games last season and scoring a goal for the II Liga amateur club, the 18-year-old confesses that he is living a dream and promises to do everything to help the club for which he signed a contract until 2026.

"I'm looking forward and happy to be at Benfica. It's a dream to come to this club. I'm here and I'm very happy. My objective is to help the team go far, conquer and achieve goals, gain experience and learn", he said in statements to BTV.

António Muanza, international for the youth teams of Angola, points out the quality of possession as his main characteristic and does not hide his ambition to play in the Benfica main team.

"I'm here to show my quality. Playing in an A team is my dream, now I'm going to do my best. My strong point is possession, I don't lose the ball easily. I like to score goals and help team", he stressed.

The signing of the Angolan midfielder had already been advanced last week and was now confirmed, this Monday, by Benfica, which announced Maestro as reinforcement of the B team in the new season of the II Football League, in a publication on its official website.
