Unitel won the “Golden Lion” of the 37th edition of FILDA

The Luanda International Fair (FILDA) once again “gave lions”, with Unitel winning two statuettes, the “Golden Lion” and “Best Participation in Telecommunications and Communication Technology”.

Among the awards, there was also the name of the Minister of Economy and Planning. The "Personality of FILDA" award was given to Mário Caetano João, who said that this edition is the best since the beginning of his journey.

"We had to reject some participations because there was no space. We are seeing the possibility of introducing themed fairs on certain international themes. We have to join efforts to make Angola a showcase of all the good that is being done. We want to make Angola a showcase of Africa", he said, quoted by Angop.

In the list of awardees, the National Oil and Gas Agency (ANPG), Banco BIC, CFMA and Africell also stand out, which won the honorable mentions in the "Gold" category, while the "Platinum" category went to Anglobal, Sonangol, Cart and Biocom Group.

The award for "Best Participation in Public Utility Services" went to the Ministry of Health and the "Best Participation in Innovative Products" was given to the General Tax Administration", due to the recently launched virtual assistant 'Justinho', writes Angop.

Adinova and EAL won the awards for "Best Commerce and Services" and "Best Participation in the Graphics Industry and Paper Packaging", respectively.

The title of "Best Participation in Food and Drink" was won by Ros Bien while Omatapalo ended up winning the statuette for "Best Participation, Civil Construction and Public Works".

According to Angop, the titles of "Best International Participation", "Best Insurance Participation" and "Best Banking and Financial Services Participation" were also awarded to Italy, ENSA and BAI, respectively.

Also noteworthy are Biocom (award for "Best Participation in Agriculture and Fisheries"), Pro Beauty (award for "Best Cosmetic and Health Participation"), Grupo Carrinho (award for "Best Participation in Industry and National Production"), Sonangol (award " Best Oil and Gas Participation"), Standard Bank (Best Brand Activation Award), TPA (Best Press Coverage Award) and Basel (Best Participation Made in Angola Award).

Cited by Angop, Bruno Albernaz, chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Eventos Arena, informed that the event – ​​which took place from the 16th to the 20th of July, in the Special Economic Zone, and had the participation of 629 exhibitors – registered more than 33 thousand visitors, classifying the balance as "extremely positive".
