Mário Jacob spoke at a press conference to present executive decree No. 219/20, of 21 July, which defines concrete prevention and control measures to prevent the spread of covid-19.

In Angola, cultural and tourist activities have been suspended since March, before the President, João Lourenço, decreed a state of emergency that took place between 27 March and 25 May, to contain the spread of covid-19.
In order to deal with the shortage of actors who intervene directly and indirectly, especially in the cultural sector, associations and partners distributed basic baskets to the most needy artists during this period.
This decree determines the resumption of some public activities with "scrupulous compliance" with biosafety measures.
