As is known, the pandemic poses challenges for creative industries, not only in Angola but also across the African continent. In this way, WeDú by Coréon Dú chose to adapt to the current context and launch a line of protective masks.
In a statement, the brand says that this initiative meets the need for greater synergy and support for independent professionals and national clothing companies, ensuring greater support for the local economy and its workers.
In addition to giving its contribution to the national fashion industry, the brand's facial covers are also a social investment. Part of the proceeds of the product will be applied to projects of young people who are part of the volunteer group Comunidade WeDú.
This community is an initiative that started spontaneously, spearheaded by members of the artist's fan club, having carried out various philanthropic and charitable activities for needy groups in the country.
The mask collection signed by Córeon Dú is of limited edition and uses only exclusive WeDú materials - mostly local - using a technique known as upcycling.
