Speaking during the Angola-Spain Business Forum, Manuel Nunes Júnior noted that out of a total of 195 assets to be privatised, 39 have already been sold.
Cited by Angop, the governor presented the Privatization Program (Propriv) as a potential business opportunity for Spanish entrepreneurs and stressed that the program will continue to be applied with accuracy and transparency.
For this year, the State plans to move forward with the privatization of Banco de Comércio e Indústria, BAI, Caixa Geral Angola, the insurance company ENSA and also companies in the tourism, telecommunications and services sectors.
Of the privatization process, which began in 2019, factories located in the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone, assets in Cuca, Ngola, Eka, Sonangol, among others, Angop said.
The Angola-Spain Business Forum took place this Thursday, as part of the visit of Pedro Sánchez, President of the Government of the Kingdom of Spain, to Angola.
