The future campus is budgeted at 4,700,000,000 kwanzas and will take around two years to be built near the center of Fernando Faustino Muteka, in a perimeter of 60,000 square metres, writes Angop.

The infrastructure, according to Angop, will have an administrative and academic block with 90 classrooms, to accommodate 20 thousand students in three periods. An olympic swimming pool, a parking lot for 500 cars, a housing block for teachers and boarding students, a laboratory area, among others, are also included in the development.

The ceremony for laying the first stone for the construction of the project took place this Wednesday (March 15), in an act led by Angelino Elavoco, deputy governor for the Political, Social and Economic sector of Huambo province.

On the occasion, the deputy governor left the promise that the government will support the consolidation of the project: "we learned that the country only develops with a commitment to science and under these conditions, the government is available to provide the necessary support in the execution of this project," he said, quoted by Angop.

In turn, the president of ISP Caála, Hélder Tchipindo, said that, "with this academic vision", they intend to "implement a more pragmatic philosophical concept" that allows young graduates to create their own jobs.

"We intend, with this academic vision, to implement a more pragmatic philosophical concept that allows young graduates to create their own jobs and, consequently, involve them in the process of local socioeconomic development, with the technical manipulation of existing resources in the province of Huambo" , he said, quoted by Angop.

The aforementioned institute opened its doors in 2017 and currently has around 12,000 students.
