According to the newspaper O País, the productions of the aforementioned national soap operas, transmitted by DSTV and produced by Diamond Films, have generated more than 300 direct jobs and more than 3500 indirect ones.

According to Gregário de Sousa, executive producer of the two productions, the daily flow of actors is frequent, writes O País, who adds that the first season of the telenovela "O Rio" had the involvement of around 1500 people in the figuration, while the " Mahinga" currently has around 50.

Thus, the list of jobs, says the newspaper O País, includes actors, technicians and extras, along with those who contribute indirectly to the completion of more than 200 episodes of the soap opera "Mahinga", which premiered on last month, and to follow up the transmissions, about three dozen scenes are recorded a day.

In turn, "O Rio" is already in its second season, in a production that foresees the recording of more than 260 episodes, and, with the recordings in progress, about 25 scenes are recorded per day, advances the same newspaper.

The producer also considered that the contribution that Diamond Films "gives to the national audiovisual production is constant". "The contribution that Diamond Films makes to national audiovisual production is constant. We not only want to say that we are the pioneers, but we want to be part of this movement of national production", he said, quoted by O País.
