The initiative is from the Critical and Curated Laboratory (LabCC), which is organizing a series of meetings, "Diálogos Críticos", with professionals of Angolan culture.
"Diálogos Críticos" consists of a series of meetings that are part of the LabCC program, as a platform for reflection on the system of thought and production in Angolan contemporary art.
The event will take place at the Pepetela Auditorium and will bring together artists, researchers, gallery owners, producers and curators from Angola, Portugal, Germany and the United States.
Under the theme "Historical and Critical Mappings of Art in Angola", the meetings are intended to be an environment for exchanging research experiences on the history of art in Angola, artistic production and recording as archival tools, and artistic practices as spaces of study, perception and construction of a history of art in Angola", reads a press release from LabCC.
